Thеу both want tο withdraw combat troops. According tο thе Washington Post article thаt wаѕ printed yesterday іn Newsday thаt іѕ οnƖу one third οf ουr troops thеrе. Thіѕ ԁοеѕ nοt figure іn Security Contractors.
Sο out οf 150,000 troops іn Iraq both Bush аnԁ Obama аrе οnƖу рƖаnnіnɡ οn withdrawing 50,000. ( Obama οn hіѕ website calls fοr withdrawing Combat troops, hе mаkеѕ nο mention οf thе others) Hοw іѕ thіѕ change?

    Obama has been talking about withdrawl from Iraq & ending the war since the beginning, even when bush wanted to increase troops. People are just now sarting to cetch on to Obama’s plan & realising that we need to withdrawl from iraq because violence is down & there is no need for us there. Bush only started talking about withdrawl after the iraq leaders said that they wanted a time table for our troops to leave wich was like 3 weeks ago. Obama is going to end the Iraq war & has had his plan for years, where as bush is just following his idea. & now even McCain is talking about withdrawl when he was previously totally against it! Saying that it would mean defeat if we left Iraq. He will withdrawl all troops gradually. Bush formerly had no withdrawl plan.
    AND TO THE DUDE ABOVE ME..OBAMA IS EVERYBIT DIFFERENT FROM BUSH! HE IS AN INTELLEGENT & ARTICULATE MAN & HE KNOWS HOW TO INPROVE AMERICA & HEAL IT FROM THE DAMAGE BUSH HAS CAUSED. PEOPLE WANT CHANGE IN THE ECONOMY, IRAQ & ENERY & BARACK OBAMA IS THE CANDIDATE WHO WILL BRING ABOUT THAT CHANGE!! OBAMA HAS REAL SOLLUTIONS FOR REAL PROBLEMS IN AMERICA. IF U WANT MORE OF THE SAME VOTE MCCAIN!!!

    Bush initiated the war without taking in what anyone else including the public, the United Nations, and individuals with much more experience in previous wars had to say.
    Obama will be left with cleaning up the mess that Bush initiated.
    That’s one difference.
